It was just me and the Bean for a whole day on Saturday, as Mr P&P was off on a skiing jolly with his mates. Given all the horrid luck we've had with lurgies and teething recently, I was a bit nervous. Needn't have worried though - we had a grand old time together. In no particular order, we read a few books had a little dance toddled around at the playground did some spring cleaning* * I say "we"...

Thanks Carie! You're not slow on the uptake at all - I've been tinkering with the design for a while (can't leave it alone, actually!) and made the last change only about a week ago.

Haha! In that case I must have a very clean cupboard, if the number of times he's helpfully emptied it is anything to go by!

You know I think he does actually want to help. He loves to load and unload the washing machine too, and 'sweep' the floors. It's very cute, I guess he likes to copy what I'm doing!

I love it too, though we do need to work a little on the execution!

Ha Ha he looks like he is being very helpful indeed. I hope you put your feet up while he was busy. ;) x

No such luck, unfortunately - there was laundry to hang up! Although that did leave time for some tea and cake when he was asleep later :-) x

Two (un)helpers! You could start a little housekeeper business there ;-)

That's so funny. When my eldest was a little younger and I needed ten minutes to myself, I used to give him a toilet roll to play with. He loved unravelling it and wrapping it round himself.

You know that's exactly what I thought M would do, and I was astonished when he didn't! I guess we'll just have to wait a little longer for that happy discovery ;-)

Haha! M's current idea of 'helping' me popper in and fold nappies is to un-pop them all again! He's not bad at loading the washing machine though (even if a block or two usually goes in with the laundry).
